We want to help keep you as young and vibrant as you are today. Our Cognitive Stimulation Program includes mental, spiritual as well as physical exercise. We include discussions, reminiscing, reading, Bible study, gardening, and incorporating your hobbies into a fun filled stimulating atmosphere. Scott makes this fun so buckle up folks.

Remember when the doctor showed up at your door with his black bag in hand? They still do. Porch Swing will place you in contact with the physicians who offer these services and help keep you out of that crazy traffic.

The Porch Swing also recommends several beauticians which will come to your home and offer hair, manicure and pedicure appointments They will help keep you looking and feeling your best.

Our Trained Staff will monitor  your medication, dosage, administration, and storage.

A Few of Your Favorite Things: We at the Porch Swing care about what makes your life special. Perhaps you have a special movie, book, or your favorite music? If possible, we will stock it all in our entertainment library, so you may enjoy them whenever you like. Perhaps you have a favorite recipe that has been passed down through your family for years?  We want to include that, along with a list of your favorite foods, snacks, and desserts on our weekly menu*. Also tell us your favorite holiday, your hobby, television show, anything that makes your day, so we may include it in our planning.

* All recipe suggestions must comply with nutritional and medical criteria.

We value and promote family involvement at the Porch Swing. On occasion, and sometimes for no occasion, we will host a lunch, dinner, or maybe even a backyard BBQ for the families of our residents. So everybody gather round, pull up a chair, bring your ukulele and sing even if you can't. These will be times you will never forget.

The Porch Swing will also e-mail pictures taken from our Family Invitational Events, or sometimes just because we feel this one needs to go into the Family Album.                                  Just supply us with an e-mail address and we'll even take care of sending the photos for you.. 

While phone calls and letters are always a pleasure, you can now communicate with your children, friends or grands face to face, regardless of the distance. Our live video conferencing allows you to see them and provides rich experience in your communication with them.
